Job Description

The Quality and Food Safety Supervisor at Sazerac Company will lead Barton Brands of Kentucky in enhancing quality and food safety practices. This pivotal role involves developing and fostering a culture of quality, managing regulatory compliance, and driving continual improvement in quality processes. As a key part of the quality team, the supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring consumer satisfaction, regulatory adherence, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for quality and food safety.
• Lead and promote safe work practices and quality training programs.
• Use the PDS system for skill development and talent enhancement.
• Conduct audits to measure and enhance quality performance.
• Drive the improvement of quality processes and systems throughout the organization.
• Standardize test methods and reduce variability in results.
• Lead food safety initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Change management experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ISO/HACCP implementation/management experience.
• Food Safety Certification or experience with Global Food Safety standards.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
