Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Med/Surg/Tele - PRN to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will be part of the Medical/Surgical unit, providing high-quality care to patients from various services. As a nurse, you will play a crucial role in patient care, demonstrating professionalism and adhering to ethical nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of patients and communities to identify health or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Monitor and report symptoms, vital signs, and changes in patient conditions.
- Modify treatment and care plans based on patient responses.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Instruct patients and families on health education and aftercare.
- Administer nursing care and medications.
- Promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Less than 1 year of experience, with direct patient care experience preferred.
- Valid BLS/CPR and RN licenses required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC documentation preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
