Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse Float (Inpatient) to join our dedicated team at Denver Health. As a Float Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients across various in-patient areas, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual, family, and community needs to identify health issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report vital signs and changes in condition.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on responses and conditions.
• Administer nursing care, medications, and treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Promote patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and performance.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active BLS and RN licenses from regulatory agencies.
• Strong clinical competence and ability to use medical equipment effectively.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work calmly in emergencies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC documentation preferred.
