Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders team. As an integral part of our healthcare system, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with extreme medical complications resulting from eating disorders and severe malnutrition. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and quality outcomes of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and identify health or safety problems.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor patient conditions.
- Modify patient treatment and care plans based on responses and conditions.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to evaluate patient care.
- Administer nursing care, including medication, and promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- One year of direct patient care experience preferred.
- Valid BLS/CPR and RN licenses.
- Strong adherence to professional nursing standards and ethics.
- Effective communication skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
