Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal Child Float to join our team at Denver Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work across various in-patient areas and the Emergency Department, providing high-quality care to our patients. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering treatments, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual, family, and community health needs.
• Maintain detailed patient records and monitor vital signs.
• Modify care plans based on patient responses.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Provide patient education on health and disease prevention.
• Administer nursing care and medications.
• Promote a positive patient experience and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current BLS and RN licenses.
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and interpret guidelines accurately.
