Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surge Hospital- Based Correctional Care (Nights - 0.9 FTE)

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health. This position focuses on providing care to a unique patient population in the Correctional Care Med Facility. As an integral member of the healthcare team, you will assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and promote positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify health or safety issues.
• Maintain detailed records and report changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and modify care plans.
• Administer nursing care and medications.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and aftercare.
• Promote a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and Registered Nurse (RN) licenses required.
• Strong adherence to nursing standards and ethical practices.
• Ability to use medical equipment effectively and communicate clearly.
