Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate RN Poison Info Specialist (Uncertified) to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will provide phone consultation and education to individuals and healthcare professionals concerning exposures to various substances, ensuring timely and accurate assistance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of poisoning cases by gathering essential information and determining appropriate actions.
- Offer first aid, poison prevention, and treatment recommendations to the public and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate records, document calls efficiently, and provide exceptional support with clarity and composure.
- Deliver public health education services, including FAQ responses and surveys, to enhance community well-being.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Previous experience in medical call centers or similar settings.
- Valid RN license issued by the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
- Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
