RN Registered Nurse (RN)- Operating Room

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RN Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Denver Health. Our Operating Room unit is a critical part of our healthcare system, providing exceptional care to patients with diverse surgical needs. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will utilize your clinical expertise to ensure the safety and well-being of our healthcare consumers, collaborate with the healthcare team, and promote excellence in healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of patients and communities to identify health or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor vital signs.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on patient responses.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist in treatments.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Promote a positive patient experience and patient education.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1 year of Operating Room experience.
• Valid BLS, RN, and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated adherence to nursing standards and competencies.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with medical equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
