Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit dedicated to creating affordable housing solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with program teams to cultivate relationships with various funders, develop fundraising strategies, and maintain funder records. Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming for funders.
• Build customized fundraising strategies for new and renewable funders.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write proposals, program reports, and stewardship documents for funders.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
• Maintain funder records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
• Track record securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong writing, editing, and design skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of affordable housing industry a plus.
