Job Description
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is looking for a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join the AWS Server Engineering team. As a key contributor, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge server products, collaborating across multiple teams and leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative solutions at scale.
Responsibilities
- Owning and leading server product design and development.
- Collaborating with customers to understand technical needs and business goals.
- Working with interdisciplinary teams to bring servers to the data center.
- Overseeing server quality post-launch and ensuring customer requirements are met.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hardware development experience with a focus on system/server development.
- In-depth expertise in server technologies such as Thermal/Mechanical design, high-speed bus design, server components, BIOS, BMC, and networking.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
- Experience in executing product design from concept to production.
- Startup experience and project management skills preferred.
- 15+ years of hardware development experience with server focus.
