Job Description
Join Amazon Data Services, Inc. as a Senior Hardware Development Engineer in the AWS Server Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of server products, collaborating with cross-functional teams and design partners to deliver innovative solutions at scale.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead the design and development of server products.
- Work with customers to understand technical needs and architect solutions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to bring servers to the data center.
- Oversee server fleet post-launch, ensuring quality and meeting customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hardware development experience in compute and/or storage server architecture.
- Experience in design and manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in server technologies and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field.
- Experience leading technical projects and interdisciplinary teams.
- Startup experience and knowledge of server validation and deployment across data centers.
Compensation
Base pay ranges from $114,300/year to $213,600/year, with additional benefits and compensation based on skills and experience.
