Salary Range: $134,500 - $261,500 per year
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon, focusing on AWS Cryptography. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to open-source projects, implement cryptographic solutions at scale, and safeguard millions of customers' data.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including feature prioritization and implementation.
- Operate globally distributed servers and provide support to AWS customers.
- Develop secure and reliable foundational libraries using C and Rust.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Experience in system design, architecture, and leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
