Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to safeguard sensitive data in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, from defining features to testing and implementation.
• Operate globally distributed servers and customers to ensure secure services.
• Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust for top-tier security standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language with a strong design and architecture background.
• Experience in mentoring or leading engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
