Job Description

We are hiring a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining secure, open-source encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data for AWS customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
• Operate an AWS business with distributed servers and customer base.
• Develop secure and reliable foundational libraries using C and Rust.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in leading design of new systems and mentorship roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
