Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $134,500 - $261,500/year
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to open source, secure web services, and the implementation of cryptography at scale to keep millions of customers' data safe.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Operate a globally distributed business with servers and customers.
- Build and deliver secure encryption tools and libraries using C and Rust.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Prior experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
