Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This role involves working on open source encryption tools and libraries to help customers protect their sensitive data across AWS services.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust for secure services.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to support cryptographic tools used worldwide.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Experience in leading design and architecture of systems.
- Full software development life cycle knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
