Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge open source encryption tools and libraries to help protect our customers' data.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Work on globally distributed servers and deliver secure libraries using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic tools and libraries used globally.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Leadership experience in designing or architecting new systems.
- Prior experience as a mentor or tech lead.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
