Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with a passion for cryptography to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This role involves contributing to open source encryption tools, maintaining secure libraries, and ensuring the highest level of data protection for millions of customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and deliver secure, reliable services using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to provide secure cryptographic tools for internal and external customers worldwide.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language and leading system design.
- Experience in the full software development life cycle and a degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Strong mentorship skills and the ability to lead engineering teams.
