We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. Responsibilities

  • Owning the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
  • Designing and implementing new features to enhance the security of AWS services.
  • Developing foundational libraries using C and Rust for secure and reliable service delivery.
  • Collaborating with senior leaders and security specialists to deliver cryptographic tools and libraries.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
  • Experience in leading design and architecture of systems.
  • Prior experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full software development life cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500 to $261,500 per year, based on market location and individual qualifications. We offer a comprehensive compensation package including equity, sign-on payments, and various medical and financial benefits.
