Shipping & Receiving Operator I - 2nd shift

Job Description

We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Operator I to join our team at PHM Brands. This position, based at our Dawn, TX facility and on the 2nd shift, involves handling, storing, loading, unloading, and organizing materials to meet customer expectations for inbound and outbound products. The role includes a variety of responsibilities such as loading trailers, maintaining cleanliness, managing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle product storage and staging in the warehouse.
• Load outbound customer orders onto van and bulk trailers.
• Unload inbound materials and products and store them appropriately.
• Ensure warehouse and work areas are clean.
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Manage paperwork for inbound and outbound loads.
• Create certificates of analysis for shipments.
• Maintain status loads in scheduling and shipping tools.
• Follow safety standards and procedures.
• Assist in Organic Grains fulfillment.
• Ensure quality shipping standards are met.
• Train in various shipment processes and driving yard trucks and trailers.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Forklift operating skills (training provided).
• Safety and equipment training provided.
• Computer skills for documenting job tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised.
• Flexible schedule availability.

Working Conditions
