Job Description
We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a world-leading manufacturer of aerospace components based in Baltimore, MD. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in managing industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures, maintaining critical spares, and ensuring equipment uptime.
Responsibilities
- Support and update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
- Secure critical spares for production equipment.
- Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares.
- Track and manage open purchase orders.
- Establish equipment uptime health board.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks and schedules.
- Assist with facility projects and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA scripting.
- Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment.
- Ability to read drawings and Electrical Schematics.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
- Mechanical and Electrical Drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of 5S, TPM, CAD design, and Additive Manufacturing.
- Inventory management experience.
