FT Mechanic/Technician Apprentice

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious FT Mechanic/Technician Apprentice to join Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment used in freight transportation in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on diesel tractors, city trucks, forklifts, trailers, and other equipment.
• Track and prioritize work to meet service schedules and customer commitments.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks and system repairs as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol tests.
• Prior experience in diesel engine repair, automotive diagnostics, or related fields preferred.

Pay

$25.32-$27.30 Per Hour
