Lead Caregiver

Job Title: Lead Caregiver

We are seeking a Lead Caregiver to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. The Lead Caregiver will function as the lead to a group of Care Managers during the shift, ensuring quality care and services are provided to residents in our care neighborhoods in alignment with individualized Service Plans and Sunrise policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory support to team members
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services
• Support personalized resident participation in life enrichment programming
• Coach team members on hospitality standards
• Ensure accurate documentation of care provided
• Monitor compliance with Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies
• Participate in crossover meetings and resident group assignments
• Lead by example in medication administration if needed
• Support onboarding of new team members
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and residents
• Handle conflict resolution and contribute to performance reviews

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Medication Management Certificate required
• Previous experience working with seniors
• Demonstrated leadership competencies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm in difficult situations
• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office
