Job Description

As a Medication Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in championing the quality of life for all seniors. Your responsibilities will involve administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner, ensuring residents receive the highest degree of quality care and services. You will work in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws, maintaining the Sunrise Senior Living mission.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
• Document medication administration in the Daily Log.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans.
• Promote resident safety and well-being through risk management practices.
• Contribute to team success by actively engaging in team goals and training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Desire to serve and care for seniors.
