Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD, at Grace Medical Center's Emergency Room on a full-time basis with a weekend commitment. The ideal candidate will be a Staff Nurse providing nursing care to patients in compliance with standards of practice and organization protocols. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient care plans, collaborating with staff and physicians, and maintaining clinical knowledge and skills competency. The successful candidate will ensure a safe patient care environment and deliver quality care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of Nursing Experience in Emergency Services preferred.
- BLS required, ACLS within 6 months of hire, PALS and Hazmat within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is a plus.
- Completion of orientation according to policy/procedures.
Unit Details
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features state-of-the-art design and amenities for emergency care, including 29 private treatment rooms, negative pressure rooms, a behavioral health treatment pod, and a CT Scanner for early diagnosis. The department aims to provide a personalized plan of care for each patient.
