Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Open Heart OR Nurse to join ThedaCare's team at the Appleton campus in Wisconsin. As an OR nurse, you will be part of a dynamic perioperative services unit, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures in a fast-paced and technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for patients in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-changing care.
- Participate in surgeries including Robotics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, and more.
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associates Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtain BSN within five years.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
