Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Psychiatric Nursing team at FirstHealth Regional Hospital. This 28-bed unit specializes in providing care to patients with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality mental health care services and support patients on their path to recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Work closely with families, groups, and the community to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License.
- 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or Behavioral Services is preferred.
- BCLS certification is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required within five years of employment.
