Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated RN (0.9 FTE, 3p-3a) to join the ThedaCare team at ThedaCare Medical Center - Wild Rose in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. As an RN Clinical Nurse, you will provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care while contributing to the goals of the department through compassionate and safe practices.

Key Accountabilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and develop patient care plans.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to provide high-quality care.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in assigned specialty and perform all nursing functions.
• Identify ways to improve patient care experiences and outcomes.
• Promote a professional environment that encourages mentoring and development.
• Consult and maintain positive relationships with physicians and team members.
• Proactively manage risks and respond skillfully in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move freely and lift up to Fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
• Exposure to blood borne pathogens and manual dexterity required.

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments.
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials.
• Compliance with department specific competencies.

Required Certifications

• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for specified departments.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Emergency Departments.
