Security Supervisor- Nightwatch 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are hiring a full-time Security Supervisor for the Nightwatch 2nd Shift position at the Cincinnati Art Museum. This role involves supervising security personnel, ensuring adherence to safety and security policies, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate will oversee nightly security operations, assist with incident reports, and conduct training programs for staff development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security guards and monitor galleries via CCTV.
• Maintain departmental records and alarm systems.
• Complete accurate incident reports and assist sick or injured visitors.
• Secure the building at closing and manage Security Department equipment.
• Conduct training programs for security personnel and other staff members.
• Assist with recruitment and handle visitor requests and complaints.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of museum or security experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and security practices.
• Reliable transportation for emergency response.

Compensation

Salary: $38,000 - $40,000 per year.
