Job Description

We are seeking an Account Executive specializing in colocation services to join the dynamic team at Flexential. This position involves presenting and selling Flexential's colocation products and services to potential clients in selected data centers. The role includes responsibilities such as prospecting within the assigned territory, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, pricing, negotiating, and closing deals. The Account Executive will provide valuable insights regarding customer needs and market trends to contribute to the company's strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation products and services to prospective customers.
  • Generate leads and secure new sales within defined regions and targeted data centers.
  • Maintain sales activity to consistently fill the forecast pipeline.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas by closing deals efficiently.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to support the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for opportunity management and documentation.
  • Oversee the contracting process for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
  • Engage in various meetings with business prospects for effective communication.
  • Build and maintain relationships with networking partners and channel partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing sales processes with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Proven success in team selling environments using Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com for end-to-end sales process management.
  • Self-motivated individual adaptable to evolving market conditions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.
  • Positive attitude and determination to succeed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful acquisition sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Salary Information:
Base Pay Range: Estimated $62,000 - $85,000 annually (actual range based on experience and qualifications)
