Job Description

Flexential is seeking an Account Executive - Colocation to join our innovative team. As a Data Center Specialist (DCS), you will play a vital role in presenting and selling Flexential colocation products and services to potential customers in selected data centers. Your responsibilities will include qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, negotiating, and closing deals while providing valuable market insight to the business.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote colocation products and services to prospective customers.
  • Generate leads and drive sales in designated regions.
  • Maintain sales activity to meet monthly quotas.
  • Facilitate the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Utilize Subject Matter Experts in the sales process.
  • Manage the sales process using Salesforce.com.
  • Cultivate relationships with networking partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in managing sales process with both C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Success in team selling using Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-driven and adaptable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years of successful sales experience.
  • Focus on technology sector is advantageous.

Base Pay Range: The annual salary range for this position is estimated at $62,000 - $85,000, subject to candidate qualifications.

Variable Pay: Eligible for discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
