Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Account Executive to join Flexential, a leading colocation company. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will play a crucial role in presenting and selling our colocation products and services to potential customers. Your responsibilities will include prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, negotiating, and closing deals within your assigned territory, contributing significantly to our business growth.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation solutions to prospective clients.
  • Generate leads and drive sales in targeted data center regions.
  • Maintain sales activity levels to meet sales quotas consistently.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to enhance sales processes.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and track sales opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with networking partners and channel partners.
  • Conduct meetings with business prospects to showcase our offerings.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership to meet objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • History of success in team selling environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to market changes.
  • Positive attitude and determination to succeed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in technology.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, with additional variable pay based on performance.
