Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are hiring an Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure at Flexential. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment in data centers, ensuring uptime of 99.999% or higher. You will lead a team of Critical Infrastructure Engineers and drive cross-market efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Manage 24x7 facility operations for all mission-critical systems.
• Coach and mentor the team on best practices.
• Lead initiatives to improve Regional Operations.
• Identify and implement operational and financial efficiencies.
• Develop and follow company policies and procedures.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and facility maintenance.
• Create detailed procedures for maintenance and operations.
• Provide training to operations staff.
• Conduct tours with customers and prospects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications.
• 5+ years of data center experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Physical Requirements

• Sit for extended periods, walk or stand for 50% of the time.
• Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
• Lift 50lbs and travel 10% of the time.

Base Pay Range

• Annualized salary: $112,700 - $145,400.
