Job Description
We are seeking a Data Center Operations Technician I to join our team at Flexential. This role involves providing physical and technical support to customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of customer and facility issues.
- Maintain professionalism while performing data center duties.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using the ticketing system.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Support 24/7 operations and work any shift.
- Assist with installations and maintenance of services.
- Maintain cleanliness and security of the data center.
- Perform shipping/receiving tasks and manage security systems.
- Assist with infrastructure maintenance and inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft OS.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- IT support experience preferred.
- Network+, Security+, CCNA certifications desired.
- Microsoft MCP or MCSA certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
- Capability to lift heavy objects and install cabling.
