Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is crucial to our operation, providing physical and technical support to our customers and resources. This role requires a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism while troubleshooting and documenting technical issues.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies and procedures.
• Assist with physical and logical installations of services.
• Ensure the cleanliness and security of the Data Center.
• Perform Facilities Rounds and escalate important information.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Prefer 1 year IT Support experience.
• Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP or MCSA certifications are desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Capability to work in cold environments and lift heavy objects.
• Experience with cabling installations.
