Field Solutions Engineer II - Channel

Job Description

We are looking for a Field Solutions Engineer II to join our team at Flexential. As a Field Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for working on opportunities in the areas of Hybrid/Cloud and Managed Services (CMS), as well as Large Retail Colocation. Your role will involve providing pre-sales technical expertise to the National Sales Team, engaging with prospects through calls and in-person meetings to design and deliver complete solutions in Cloud and Managed Services.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Develop Regional Partner relationships and provide technical enablement.
• Architect Cloud and Managed Services solutions for new logo customers.
• Support sales teams with technical drawings and designs.
• Stay up-to-date on product offerings and industry trends.
• Create complete and accurate documentation for Implementation.
• Design and present complex CMS/Hybrid solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand critical business drivers and formulate solutions.
• Create quotes and present solutions to potential clients.
• Provide datacenter tours and post-sale information transfer.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent.
• 6-9 years of industry experience in sales engineering.
• Ability to design and explain solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical expertise in managed IT services.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based web applications and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven individual.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in an office or remote environment.
• Frequent travel required.
