Job Description

The University of Toledo Physicians is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic setting. The LPN will assist providers in delivering healthcare services, ensuring the highest quality patient experience and maintaining positive relationships within the healthcare team. This position involves various clinical procedures, patient care tasks, and administrative responsibilities to support the efficient operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures under the supervision of physicians or healthcare providers.
• Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate instructions and information clearly and professionally to patients.
• Assist in prescription verification, laboratory procedures, and equipment maintenance.
• Handle patient inquiries, triage messages, and collaborate with the healthcare team effectively.

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent with a Diploma from an accredited LPN Program.
• State of Ohio LPN License and CPR/BLS Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with proficiency in medical terminology.
• Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and sound judgment.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy, handle confidential information, and adhere to compliance standards.
