Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Emergency Room requires day and night shifts on weekends with varying hours. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide nursing care following the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols. You will assess patient needs, collaborate with the healthcare team, maintain clinical competency, and ensure a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Services experience or 3-5 years of acute care experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- PALS and Hazmat certifications within one year of hire
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred
Unit Details
The Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center offers advanced facilities for patient care, including private treatment rooms, a providers' station, negative pressure rooms, and a behavioral health treatment pod. The department is equipped with a CT Scanner for early diagnosis of conditions like strokes and heart attacks.
