Project Manager-Mechanical Services

Job Description

University Mechanical Contractors, Inc is looking for a skilled Project Manager-Mechanical Services to lead the team responsible for estimating, selling, and delivering Service HVAC and/or Plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will streamline processes, supervise teams, and ensure the successful implementation of projects through effective planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Qualify prospective customers and projects.
• Estimate projects and present proposals to clients.
• Achieve plan margin and sales goals.
• Manage logistical processes, vendors, and equipment/material purchases.
• Coordinate permits, inspections, and safety compliance.
• Schedule manpower and equipment start-up.
• Oversee project warranty processes and customer relations.

Requirements

• High technical competency in HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead teams effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong project coordination abilities.
• Goal and quality oriented with strong leadership qualities.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent project management experience.
• 5-7 years of sales experience and 2-3 years of sales leadership.

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
