Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently looking to fill four (4) Registered Nurse (RN) positions at Meade District Hospital. The positions include full-time roles for day and night shifts, as well as float positions between different departments. Join our team to provide quality care focused on patient comfort and well-being, working under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and patient care standards.
• Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust processes for optimal care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
• Assist other team members and healthcare providers in patient care.
• Administer medications and oversee patient treatments.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and dignity.
• Formulate personalized care plans and assess their effectiveness daily.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and demonstrate professionalism in all duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Kansas state license.
• Continuing education requirements include maintaining ACLS, PALS certifications, and CPR reviews.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide detailed documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to standards.
