Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our team at Goucher College. In this role, you will assist in implementing the sports medicine program and provide athletic training services to our intercollegiate athletic teams. Responsibilities include providing training coverage, implementing injury prevention programs, maintaining medical records, and supervising the athletic training room.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide athletic training coverage during practices and games.
- Assist in the implementation of the sports medicine program.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Supervise the athletic training room and student workers.
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
Professional Experience
- Required: BOC certified, Maryland licensed or eligible.
- Preferred: 1 year of collegiate experience.
