Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Life Claims and Investigations to join our team at USAA. In this critical role, you will oversee the Life, Annuity & Health claims and fraud investigation programs, ensuring efficient claims processing, minimizing turnaround time, and enhancing member satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and leadership to interpret procedures and guidelines within the claims and benefits process.
- Direct and oversee the claim investigation team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for Claims Security and fraud investigation programs.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners and law enforcement agencies.
- Lead hiring, employee development, and performance evaluation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience with 3 years in Claims and/or Insurance Fraud.
- Previous experience in leadership or management roles.
- Familiarity with Life Insurance and/or annuity claims procedures and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
