FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter to join Cargill's protein and salt business located in Wyalusing, PA. As a key team member, you will ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS regulatory standards, maintain plant operations, and facilitate communication with inspectors to uphold quality and safety measures in our food production process.

• Compensation: $24.16 per hour

Principal Accountabilities

• Progress from Tech I to Tech III level with specialized training.
• Communicate effectively with USDA-FSIS inspectors and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Perform necessary incisions and preparations for USDA-FSIS inspection.
• Operate in various areas of the harvest floor as needed.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Minimum 18 years of age and proficient in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in diverse environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in beef processing and knife skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with USDA-FSIS regulations and safety practices.
