Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality.
• Lead and mentor Associate Application Engineers, ensuring team commitments are achieved.
• Guide the team in making key design decisions and achieve results for assigned products.
• Remediate issues, create proactive design solutions, and contribute to technology communities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
• Internal technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale for internal applicants.

Bonus Points

• Experience with legacy modernization projects.
• Strong Java and cloud-based technology experience.
• Design expertise with Kafka clusters for event-driven architecture.
• Experience in deploying application and infrastructure into production pipelines.
• Proven problem-solving skills and forward-thinking mindset.
• Passion for learning new technologies and implementing automation.

Compensation: Base pay range $86,500.00 - $146,100.00
