Job Description
Master Roofers is seeking a Roofing Advisor to join our team. With more than 80 years of delivering top-quality roofing services to Central & Southern New Hampshire and the North Shore of Massachusetts, our company is a premier choice for residential and commercial roofing needs.
As a Roofing Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding homeowners through the process of repairing or replacing their roofs and skylights. Using a combination of hands-on experience, site inspections, and modern technology, you will provide expert advice and solutions tailored to meet each customer's unique requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person sales solutions following company procedures and standards.
- Accurately document all sales activity in the CRM system.
- Maintain a current calendar, be punctual to appointments, and be responsive to customers and colleagues.
- Stay updated on sales information, products, and industry trends.
- Build strong relationships with customers and assist in training other sales representatives.
- Handle escalated customer service issues effectively.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience in roofing (insurance and retail).
- Excellent communication skills and attentive listening abilities.
- Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Ability to overcome objections and work within a short sales cycle.
- Professional sales pitch delivery and familiarity with building codes and regulations.
- Physical capability to walk long distances, climb stairs, and use tablets (Apple iPads) and Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; roofing installation experience or certification preferred.
- Goal-oriented, customer service-oriented, and a team player.
