Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) - Relocation Offered

Job Description

Marion County is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) to join our Adult Behavioral Health team. As a registered nurse in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to adults diagnosed with serious mental illnesses, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include completing nursing assessments, administering injections, providing support to psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, coordinating care and medications, and overseeing other nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, such as assessments, injections, and emotional support.
• Coordinate care for individuals in service and oversee Behavioral Health Nurses 1.
• Work closely with the medical team and Nurse Program Manager to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing with four years of behavioral health nursing experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field with two years of behavioral health nursing experience.
• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Oregon.
• Comprehensive knowledge of community behavioral health nursing and related regulations.
