Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Tanker Driver to join our transportation team at Wright Media. As a Class A Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting liquid cargo, ensuring its safe and timely delivery to designated locations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of operational and driving excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Transport liquid cargo safely and efficiently to specified locations.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to hazardous material transportation.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement in your state of residence.
  • Hazmat endorsement may be required in some locations.
  • A minimum of six (6) months verifiable experience driving a minimum of five (5) axle diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination unit.
  • Stable work history and a minimum age of 21.
  • No driving while intoxicated (DWI) or driving under the influence (DUI) convictions in the previous seven (7) years.
  • No more than three (3) traffic citations, or a combination of one (1) highway "at fault" accident or two (2) citations within the last two years.
  • Must be able to pass the road test, DOT physical exam, pulmonary function test, and a controlled substance test.
