Job Description
Join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems as a Facilities Equipment Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing industrial equipment availability through predictive and preventative measures, maintaining critical spares inventory, coordinating equipment servicing and uptime strategy, and establishing performance metrics for uptime. Responsibilities
- Update equipment listings and servicing requirements to maximize uptime.
- Secure critical spare parts to support production equipment uptime.
- Create and maintain complex Excel files with VBA scripting for inventory management.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure preventative maintenance is efficient and timely.
- Drive machine checks and develop tracking systems for equipment accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting and cost-saving initiatives within facility maintenance projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CNC and Robotic equipment, and reading OEM drawings.
- Desire to work in Aerospace Assembly or Manufacturing industry.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies and CAD design.
- Knowledge of Facility Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
- Inventory management and Machine Design experience.
