Job Description
We are hiring a Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a key member of the delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient delivery, setup, and inspection of merchandise for our valued customers. If you are a self-starter who enjoys meeting new people and providing exceptional service, we want you to be a part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect, set up, and verify the accuracy of delivered and returned merchandise.
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles.
- Ensure the proper handling and maintenance of trucks and equipment to prevent damage.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work day shifts throughout the week in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
