Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Green Source Automation LLC, based in Jerome, Idaho, is looking for an experienced Robotics Service/Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our robotics systems in the dairy industry, performing regular maintenance tasks, and ensuring the proper operation of our automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Robotics Systems in the dairy industry.
• Perform biweekly maintenance on all six systems.
• Conduct weekly brush changes.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance on ECAlogical MAX Generators.
• Be available for on-call duty as needed.

Requirements

• Develop the skill set required to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
• Experience in PLC-based controls design, development, implementation, and support.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in PC skills and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Comfort working with chemicals like Chlorine, Chlorine dioxide, and Iodine.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing time efficiently.
• Handle paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using diagrams and test equipment.
• Flexible availability for work hours and travel.
• Willingness to travel to different dairies within a 6-hour driving radius.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the company vehicle.
• Comfortable working in a dairy environment.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation details

Salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
